It’s only a few weeks into the summer term and already we have had lots of fun and exciting opportunities.
In Year R, the first topic for summer is space! We went to the Winchester Science Center to see all the awesome gadgets they have and to watch the Cardboard Rocket show in the planetarium… so cool!! Ahmed and Zachary loved blowing bubbles into the giant tubes!
We also had a Star Wars Stay and Play to get our parents involved in our out of this world learning!
Year 1’s topic is all about pirates and we are sailing the seven seas to find out all we can about them! We have even parked a giant boat in our corridor! We also visited the library to explore the different kinds of books there are and how we can borrow them.
Year 3 got the amazing opportunities to become farmers for the day! With the sun shining down on us we explored the farm and found out about all the different animals. We then got to feed the buffalo and stroke the lambs! Hasan, Hussain and Finn did a great job feeding all the animals!
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, we had our annual Year 3 sleepover in the same week! Hot chocolate, dancing and lots of sleep (not!)
A big well done to Lynx who have already had 2 celebrations this half term! They started off with an attendance disco after a whole week with the class in! Miss Fry was very excited as it was her first ever attendance party! They have also been working really hard to achieve their hexagons and finally got them all… which meant it was time for ice cream!
